If you're a Dog Fancier of any breed "BLOAT" is a word we all appear to have in common now. From toys to the giant breeds just this one word can strike fear in our hearts. As it happens quickly for no apparent reason and it strikes at any time. It knows no age limitation, no color and no particular breed anymore. It's time we put our heads together and lets find the common denominator's that cause this dreaded disease between the breeds.
This Questionnaire has been developed to compile data from various areas and even some that you may not even think should be there. But hey, this is the only way we will find the answers we seek. This will be an ongoing survey for one year it will end on 03/31/99. At that time final results will be tabulated to all areas, and hopefully we will be able to see a new pattern. The results will be posted to the net and maybe added discussions on the findings can take place.
For those people with friends that do not have access to the net please email Dana and request a hard copy of the survey and one will be forwarded to you. We need as many cases as we can get. Lets pull together and and see if we can find a new direction to go with a Control Group Study.
